Got my new glasses ok, I don’t think they look too bad at all. The car’s done too, they suggest I get a new clutch cable at some point, but that it’s non-urgent (which probably means they just didn’t have the part in stock). That will cost about the same as a service though.

I’m off back to Oxford later, with my sister in tow. She starts uni in a few weeks time and is having a break this week. The idea is that we’ll go into London tomorrow, Oxford Thursday, and then perhaps watch a film on Friday before bundling her back onto the train.

So I’ve been packing a few odds and ends to take back.
