A good day in London. Svenson was right though, definately more tiring than lazy. Good fun though.
First off once the train got into London we got the tube to Westminster, had a look at the houses of Parliament:
Then on to have some lunch, before going to the aquarium:
Then a ride on the London eye:
Then we walked over to Buckingham palace (a bit palacial for so few people!):
And finally catching the tube over the British Museum:
We actually got well lost trying to find the place, as it wasn’t terribly well signposted, and we didn’t have a decent map of the place. Found it in the end though.
With that done, back to the tube (rush hour by now, so cramped, hot and busy), and then a slow train back to Oxford. I think we got back around 9:30.
