Blog’d to death

The scene-of-crime officer didn’t think there was much point dusting the car for prints. I tend to agree with them. So it’s just waiting until tomorrow for a new bit of glass, and hopefully back to normal then.

Work was the usual today.

If you normally read Dr Keyboard’s diary, over at Chateukeyboard, now would be a good time to return, as it appears he’s gotten round to catching up.

When I first started reading the other Daynotes pages I’d never heard of a blog, and certainly didn’t think it normal that people posted such things.

When I look now there are zillions of them. It’s a whole new area of software too, with tools to create and maintain them.

I’m sure everyone who writes on has a different reason for why they do it. I’ve never been totally sure why I started here, and why I continue. I think it’s two factors. The first is that people actually read the things I write, and comeback for more. I think the other is the interaction. The emails that people send, the comments that people leave, and the discussions that come from those.

Interaction is one of those things that I think people seek even if they don’t think they do. It’s probably one of those subconcious things that has lead to society being as it is. Strange.

Now I’ve got to start routinely coming up with witty and intelligent things to say. I really do ask for trouble sometimes.
