Slow

A perfectly ordinary day today, nothing much of interest happening.
I get an email today part of which reads:
"i have to say that some of your diary entries are getting a bit short and sweet ;o)"
So I had better apologise, and explain.
I lead a pretty ordinary life. Most of my time is spent at work, earning money, so that the few hours I’m not there, I can enjoy a little more. Like a fair few people, work is essentially my life. Not all of it mind, but a fair size chunk.
Now, I would tell you about work, somedays it’s really interesting, somedays, just plain interesting. And there are the odd few boring days, but not too many. The problem is that it’s work, and I shouldn’t really go spouting my mouth off about everything that happens there. Part of it’s plain confidential. Part of it is common sense. If I start going into too much detail about stuff, we’d stand a chance of losing our competitive advantage, we’d open up ourselves more on the security front. Also I’m not a spin doctor, and my sometimes cynical views mightn’t be in line with the company line.
Vague stuff, yes, general ideas, yes. But enough to pad these pages out. ‘fraid not.
Now, after 6pm, when I’m home. Well that depends, somedays I’m too knackered for much and veg out infront of the TV, go to sleep or whatever. Some days I’ll spend hours surfing the web, tinkeing with the computer, on the phone or whatever.
Now I don’t mind telling you about that sort of stuff, but there’s only so much detail you can put into "played simcity for 2 hours". I’d send you all to sleep I’m sure.
Anyway. Rest assured that if there is anything amazing, radically different, interesting enough for me to remember to tell you, then I will. If I’m allowed that is.
