I’m very glad I didn’t get up early this morning (4:30am local time) to watch the qualifying for this weekends Japanese GP. This story details what stopped the session for an hour and quarter.

Nobody seriously hurt, though the car did punch a nice hole in the crash barrier (no joke).

It also seems that Mat Lemming’s idea of weight penalties could well happen.
