Cigar

Here we go again. Someone this evening, used Altavista UK to search for “cigar diary”, and for some bizarre reason, my site is second in the list. Second. I don’t even smoke. Not even cigars.

Using the site search, I’ve mentioned cigarettes recently, in the context of fixing the car’s cigarette lighter (so I can charge my mobile phone). And a few mentions of cigarettes back last year.

The only time, it seems, I’ve mentioned cigars directly (other than now), is the twice that I’ve used the well worn phrase “Close but no cigar”.

And that’s it. And that warrants me being the second item?

Someday I’ll understand the weird logic that is used by the search engines.
