Water Out

The water change wasn’t as tricky as I first thought… though getting a mouth full of water seems a pre-requisite (yes, I know, through careful tube placement, you can do it without).

It seems I removed about 1/3 of the water… which was a tad more than I was planning.

As for casualties, all the fish seem to be there at the moment (though counting them has become rather tricky), so not too bad for now.

The new fishys, the zebra danios are amazing to watch when they’re feeding. After a while I zap the pump back on and any free floating food fragments get blasted into the water (where the cardinals usually have their lunch). Now the zebra danios will chase them too. They’ll just dive from the top of the water, straight down after the food, amazing to watch.

Anyhow, barring any disasters, that’s this weeks fish adventures over with (though the webcam is due to arrive next week).
