I really do think my car is turning into one of those temperamental old motors. Last week when I went to open the boot it wasn’t having any of it. The key just wouldn’t turn in the lock. So I tried the spare (unused) key. Nothing there either.
It’s not as big a pain as you’d imagine as there’s a boot release widget by the drivers seat.
But it’s still been an annoyance all the same.
Then this morning I wheel the trolley around, having filled it with supermarket goods, and think “I’ll try it one more time”, and what happens… it works.
I guess it’ll stop working again now too.
If I could afford it, I’d be looking for another motor about now (esp. as the MOT is up at the end of this month).
