Thanks to this helpful comment, I’m not confused at all and am very certain that today is Thursday. Friday would have been better (payday and start of hols), but Thursday will do.
Got to get started a little earlier this morning, because of another parcel to collect from the sorting office.
First day of scraping ice off my car yesterday, but it’s looking more wet than cold today, so hopefully no more of that (then again looking at the weather forecast, it may well be nicely frozen).

Lucky you to get holidays!!!! I find out today if I'm working Christmas Day or not - but even so that is 99% likely to be my only day off - I might get Boxing Day if the BT gods are smiling on me. I need a new job lol
