Phil’s Diary - [Blog @ http://www.philsdiary.net/]
A slightly later than usual start this morning because I’ve got pick one of my colleagues up from the station, and he’s arriving a little later than I’d usually get to work.
This gives me a chance to fiddle some more with Samba, which astounds me today by working, or at least part of it appears to work. Yesterday smbclient -L linuxbox would break. Now it lists directories. I’ve not touched anything.
Also the Webserver seems to be working as well. That wasn’t earlier either. Stranger and stranger.
I’ve got to go now, so will try it with the Windows box connecting using Samba later (for now I’ve left the files copying back using an smbfs mount).
It’s all black magic as far as I’m concerned, but now I’ve got to go to work.

So just let it be. In a few days time you will see files and some days late you may even be able to access them already ...
