Although I don’t get out of bed until close to mid day, I am awake reasonably early. Eventually once we’re both up and changed we go around to one of Ruth’s friends for a quick chat before moving on, with friends in tow, to another local pub for a light Sunday lunch. Some rather poor service drags the meal out through the whole afternoon, and we return back to Ruth’s at about 5. I get packing shortly after a slightly cut-down Sunday roast (cut down by my choosing), and on the road just before 7pm.

Back home and I get unpacked and chat to Ruth for a while before getting to sleep.

It’s been a rather good weekend.
