My sister takes her time getting ready to go (something about not having an alarm clock).
We eventually get going around 11, and get to Birmingham about half and hour later. Then we spend a good hour plus getting lost. Actually it’s not so much lost (I knew where we were), just not being able to find where we were going. Trouble was that once we were in the center of Birmingham any signposting dried up. We went in one side, straight through and out the other.
About that time Ruth came to our rescue pointing out the pertinent bit of information that got us there (a small side road which needed taking). Thanks Ruth.
Anyway, we got to Cadbury World (no ’s apparently), and after a quick snack were in. A lot of it is geared to kids, and keeping them amused. The stuff that isn’t was pretty interesting.
Much chocolate was consumed, and even more brought home. I’ll be eating it for weeks I expect.
With the exception of the stressful trip there, a pretty good day out.
