My alarm managed to confuse the hell out of me this morning. Off it goes, and first things first I’m wondering what all the noise is. Then I’m fumbling to find where the alarm is in order to turn it off. I miss the mark by a long long way. Several minutes later I’m awake enough to hit the alarm and send into snooze for a while (three quarters of an hour to be precise).
Apparently when it comes to Iraq, the US is ready for a fight whether the UK wants to join in or not. Why this surprises people I really can’t understand. The US has one heck of a big army, airforce and navy. I’m pretty sure they could squash any single country they wanted. So why people are surprised that they could flatten Iraq alone is beyond me.
Seems I’ve found a willing recipient for my champagne donations. Which saves me some tortuous indigestion.
Anyhow I’ve got to get off to work.
