Going To War

Althought it all starts a bit overcast today, by about lunchtime it’s as warm and sunny as yesterday. I like it when the weather is like this. Work is as every busy.

Back home and the government are busy getting backing from the rest of the MPs over a war with Iraq, and it appears they’ve managed it. And Bush is saying that there will be military action whether Sadam leaves Iraq or not. To be fair this last bit, while in strong terms makes some sort of sense. Iraq would benefit from being sorted out. A new government, proper democracy etc. And to do that from the outside alone may be a bit tricky.

Anyway, enough politics, it’s time for me to get some sleep.

But doing it from the inside will not be easy either. And it'll be taking too much time for the Americans.
Unless they take strong lessond from what went wrong (and is still going wrong) in Afganithan. But I doubt that.
They will want to clear out as soon as possible to be able to concentrate on their next target. Either France or N Korea or some such.
