Matrix Reloaded

Ever since I’ve been going to the cinema I swear that films always opened on Friday night. Now Matrix 2 comes along, and for some reason it’s opening on a Wednesday. What’s that all about? What was wrong with Friday?

Beyond me.

Anyway… I’m off to watch a movie. See you tomorrow.

Well, I'd say that what was wrong with Friday was that they'd have no trouble filling the theatre on Friday, and they'd have no trouble filling it for the opening of Matrix 2. Now one of those is wasted (in their terms), isn't it? Whereas they probably DO have trouble filling the theatre on Wednesday and Thursday, but won't now.
