JHR kindly sent me this link to an interesting article about “drifting”. Is interesting reading, though I guess I’ll be wanting an older, cheaper car to be trying it out in.

While driving rally or raly-race you automatically do some drifting in the corners.

Drifting has become infamous here in Hawai'i after an underground video was produced showing these idiots doing their thing on public streets.
Fortunately, the local private race course has setup a place for drifting as an effort to get these people off the streets.
Driving quickly and precisely is one thing, but putting other people in danger while you have "fun" is not my idea of a Good Thing.
