Phil’s Diary - [Blog @ http://www.philsdiary.net/]
Well the holiday goes from bad to worse. Yesterday the exhaust fitting that I was going to have done on Monday was postponed (they’ve not yet finished the parts). This morning it feels like I’ve gone from a cold to tonsillitis. And to finish things up nicely, someone’s smashed the bonnet (aka hood) of my car, nice dents, cracked paint, the works.
To say I’m really quite depressed is an understatement.
Here’s what the damage to the car looks like:

Sorry to see the damage to the motor Phil. Some people have no respect. I've heard of people running across bonnets causing this type of damage which is another possibility you can add to your list. Probably not worth claiming on the insurance I suppose because of the excess?

It doesn't look like vandalism (no extra scratches) more like someone sat on it.

Too bad they don't behead people anymore...
Sometime I'll take a picture of our Toyota Camry where some idiot rammed their shopping cart into the side of the car....

Looks like a good hard smack with a fist, doesn't it?? Bad attack of car envy I presume -- they wouldn't have done that to a grotty old Mondeo, would they!
Cheers... /Mike
