I wonder whether my alarm varies it’s tone slightly when it’s trying to wake me, dependent on whether it is it’s first call or the fifteenth after excessive snoozing. I swear I can hear a slight change. Then again, maybe not.

what kind of allarm is it that it can be sneezed off 14 times?!!?

I don't know wheter mine does a second call (I turn it off while jumping out of bed).
The other one, a radio-allarm with cassette (now used as radio in the bathroom) cannot be 'snoozed' or 'stopped' the second time, it just keeps playing for half an hour even if you turn it off. Only unplugging stops it (but then you have to reset everything).
