Another Feb 28th, and I’m another year older. I think I’ll be celebrating more than being miserable though.
My parents very kindly bought me a juicer to go with the smoothie maker (aka blender) my younger brother bought me for Christmas. They also got me a very compressive book on making smoothies and juicing (appropriate mixes as well as tips on picking, storing, preparing and using the fruit and veg).
I also got myself a new mobile while out shopping. I’ve donated my old one to my dad, as while it’s battery life can be a little short (not helped by not getting a signal at work), it’s in perfect working order, and quite a nice phone.
My new one is very similar to the last but a bit smaller. Some nice new features too, while getting rid of some that I hardly ever used on the old one.
Off out after lunch to see a couple of chaps from the MR2ROC who live near my parents. Even managed a brief cruise through down the high-street, exhausts booming. What trouble makers we are.
Back home and the whole family, bar one who’s on duty somewhere, go off out for a nice curry.

February 28th also happens to be Mario Andretti's birthday. Some would say he is/was the finest U.S. driver ever.
And, of course, he won the F1 title while driving for Colin Chapman's Team Lotus...
