Well I got a whole load of work done today. It was strange not having the usual distractions, nothing at all to force me to have a break for a minute or two.
It takes me back to doing exam revision. Even as far as having the stack of paper to work through, and moving to from the waiting to the complete pile, and watching and hoping and predicting it’ll all get done in time as it goes.
Other than that, it wasn’t much different from working at home. It was nice to not have the travel problems, and good that the kitchen is just behind me.
I guess if I carried on doing this for more than just a few days a week, I’d start missing out on the social interaction, as well as not having a clue what was going on at work.
But as it stands, a way of getting on with a new project, it worked well.
