Phil’s Diary - [Blog @ http://www.philsdiary.net/]
Every time I order a pizza from my local Domino’s store there’s a long discussion that takes place about where I live. It’s not that it’s a small obscure building, it just happens to be in an awkward place.
So tonight, starving, with cupboards empty, I thought I’d try online ordering of the pizza, hopefully cut out the ambiguity.
So what happens? They phone me up. “We’d just like to confirm your address”. So I do, followed by the familiar “So where is that?” straight after.
So I may as well have phoned the order in.
On the upside the guy I spoke to seemed to know where it was when I described the location, and the pizza got where without too many problems. And was plenty tasty.
