Can’t Think of a Title

Working from home today, the weather is pretty much as yesterday, and I’ve still got a cold (now there’s a surprise, got to wonder how long this one will take to shift).

I’ve got plenty to keep me going today.

More later.

"Can't Think of a Title"

One of the few good things about getting old is you remember all kinds of trivia.

There was a movie, I think with actor Jimmy Steward (showing my age again) playing an Air Force pilot.

While away on duty, his wife gives birth and sends a telegram telling him of the happy event and asking him what name to give to their newborn daughter.

His reply is:
I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING BUT HOPE
ALL IS WELL
LOVE
YOUR HUSBAND

When he gets back from duty he asks his wife what she named their daughter. The wife, looking nonplussed, replies; "Dear, you told me to name her Hope, so that what I did."

Aloha - Dan
