So, you’ve an RC plane (no, nothing expensive or fancy), a field, a slight breeze.… and one tree. Only one tree. Now we’re talking a huuuuuge field here. And yet still, we manage to get the plane into the tree. And no, not at a nice reachable height. Nope, has to be 18’ up. A big branch comes to the rescue.
Good fun though :)

got to hate them trees but ive done worse.
this christmas i got a electric piper and was flying it at a baseball field, probably not the best choice as its not large and there are light poles. would have been great if i had just hit the lightpole. no, i landed my plane 80 feet up on a 2foot by 3foot cat walk. Perfect landing nothing apparently broken but stuck. the wheels are apperetny jammed in the flooring because its not solid its metal but looks like a fishing net. i havent gotten it down yet but a bucket truck goes around every month to change bulbs so its only a matter of time .
