Another busy day today, just not quite as busy or as much hardwork as yesterday. We got to my parents at midday, and got a couple of things done before lunch, such as my parents buying me a lawnmower (thankyou to them) as a housewarming gift.
After lunch we pop into town and buy a washing machine. I’d tried earlier in the week, but all the big places insist on delivery as they don’t carry any stock. That’d have meant a day off work for me.
The smaller place in town have a machine there I can have and agree to drop it round to my parents half an hour later.
With that all sorted it’s into the furniture moving… we load the van up with some tables, desks, a wardrobe, chest-of-draws, and other useful bits and pieces. We’re done by six, and so shower and change and off out for some food in a minute.
