Another busy day today. Abi and I set off after breakfast and got back to Bicester around midday, it didn’t take us too long to unload the van, and then head back to Oxford. Abi sorted out some lunch while I had a quick shower (I’ve been sweating buckets), and then we set about packing and loads even more stuff. We got most of the large and heavy things into the van, as well as plenty of other stuff to fill it up with. Although we were done unloading the van pretty early we stayed in Bicester a few hours unpacking and setting up a couple of things (mainly so we could rescue a few boxes). So now the living is looking less like it’s had the entire contents of the house dumped in it, and more like a living room.
Next weekend we’re planning on popping back to Abi’s place in Wales and liberating a few kitchen appliances that Abi and her parents have kindly loaned me, and then I’m almost there, it’s just a case then of picking a day and moving the last bits and pieces over.
This weekend has been tiring, hard work and very busy, but most of the move is done now. Just a few bits left.
