I did promise some pics and movie clips from last weekends day at Bruntingthorpe. I’d hoped to have gotten this done sooner but my ADSL vanishing delayed things a little. Anyway, some pics below (click for larger versions).
First a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, nice car, amazing sound (see the clips later):
A couple of rather nice TVRs, complete with the now trademark chromaflair paint jobs (that red Porsche you can just see parked up behind the left TVR is an RUF Turbo, the fastest car on the day at 192mph through the speed trap):

3 Porsches in a row. The front one is an RUF GT2, the second a Porsche Turbo, and the last one a Porsche GT2. All rather expensive cars:

And lastly, two ferrari, the red one is rather a nice Ferrari 360 Spyder, the silver a 360 Maranello. Both very fast and very expensive:

So, that’s a selection of some of the cars there, very fast and very expensive. Here’s a couple of short movie clips of the cars away from the line:
The Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. This hopefully gives you an idea of the sound it makes… imagine it much much much louder. Very very nice indeed.
Porsche 996 GT3RS (white) vs Porsche 993 RS. Not as loud as the 360CS, but still pretty noisy.
TVR Tuscan vs A much older Porsche. The TVRs have a very distinctive very gruff exhaust note. At 170mph down the runway they sound very much like an old fighter imho(think Spitfire etc.).
Ferrari 360 vs Porsche 993 RS. And I’m guessing the 360 was bouncing off the rev limiter a little there.
Anyway, hopefully enough to give you an idea of what the day was like. Lots of fun for petrol heads like me.
