Speeding, again.

The government are considering changing the penalties for speeding in this country. At present there’s a fixed fine and penalty points (save them up for a disqualification), except when they decide to haul you to court (often for extreme offences). The new idea is to graduate the penalties dependent on how much you’re breaking the limit by. There are mixed views on this from many, but in my books the RAC person has it right. Speed cameras just don’t cut the mustard when it comes to circumstances, and so really don’t have any idea of safety.
