Went to watch Alien vs Predator with Abi this evening, can’t say I was particuarly impressed. It’s not that it’s too bad, it’s just that the story doesn’t really make the most of the characters. Alien for example had two excellent and two not so good movies. But rather than build on all the story, history, background and so on, it just borrows the aliens themselves.

Anyway, not bad, just not particuarly good, IMHO.

Aliens was good because it was new and there was some sort of a story. The sequals, as is more or less usual for sequals, were just more of the same.
