Svenson mailed me late last night to let me know that his hosting comapany have had a problem moving hosting machines for his daynotes sites. Here’s what he has to say:
Due to some site moves by my hosting company I won’t be able to update both the swijsen.com and swijsen.net site for a while. According to plan it should have been done early this morning but apparently something went wrong .… yes, yes very unsuspected I knowWhen the dust settles I’ll give a call again.

And I notice I should update the sjon.svenson index page, still unchanged since 1999 ...

I supose they had no problem moving the stuff over.
They changed the account settings and login scripts and sent out new instructions for accessing mail and FTP, changes noted in both of them compared to the old methods.
Problem is I still have access to the mail in the old way but I can't get FTP to work neither in the old way nor in the new way.
FUBAR instructions.
