Ignition

Back home after a not too bad day at work, and Abi’s done some bangers and mash with her new potato masher. With some curried beans it’s all rather nice. Then as Abi works on a jigsaw (with corners, and edges, so obviously dead easy), I play GT4 some more, now I have a wizzy fast car, so winning some of the races is a bit easier now.

I then do some more oiling of the worktop in the kitchen. I’ve finished the first segment now, so start on the second. Unnervingly the oilcan says, “application cloth may spontaneously ignite”, which isn’t entirely confidence inspiring.

Yeah, sometimes cloth with certain chemicals can heat up when left in a pile to dry - best bet - leave it laid out flat, preferably somewhere on concrete, outdoors. It'll take a while, but it'll dry out - then you can throw it away.

The alternative, of course, is to burn it. Beat it to the punch, as it were.
