After spending most of yesterday at work, today is back at home again, because it’s a bank holiday in the UK.
After some breakfast outside, Abi and I head off to the DIY store for various bits and pieces. As ever we come back with more than we intended.
We also get one of those recently advertised Flash car cleaning doobrys. To be honest most of it is pointless, except the de-ioniser, which you’re supposed to wrinse the car down with afterwards. This of course leaves the car nice and shiney rather than with watermarks all over it. It works really quite well, and we give both our cars a wash.
For our afternoon entertainment we head off to the cinema to watch Hitchhikers Guide. Pretty good it is too, with plenty of amusing bits, a decent cast, and a not too shabby set of special effects. I’d probably have liked it even more if my back hadn’t been killing me almost throughout the film.
