So, after a not unreasonable nights sleep (considering the partying and the lowered comfort factor) we’re awake a tad early. Sleeping in a tent seems a bit like sleeping in a room with no curtains. So up bright and early we head off to get some food, as Abi’s starving. It’s then a chance to take another look around the cars before repacking the car, and heading off home (before the forecast rain hits). The following are a selecting of piccys of the various cars on show, click for larger versions.
It’s good job we left when we did, as no sooner are we a few minutes down the road when the heavens open. Abi’s just about asleep by then, so I battle on in torrential downpours.
When we get home we leave the car half packed, as it’s still raining, and head in and off for a bath and some sleep. We need to catch up.
And then as the evening rolls in, we get the rest of the stuff, have some food, watch a little telly.
