We start the day with a bit of DIY, in the shape of hanging the mirror and picture Abi bought last week. The mirror isn’t too hard, but the picture is in a slightly more awkward place.
With those done we move on to the DVD towers, they need trimming round the skirting boards to fit flush against the wall, which takes a little while with a jigsaw (no, not the puzzle type).
With that done we have some food, and then head off to the cinema to watch War of the Worlds. Abi was less than impressed, where as I thought there were only two weak bits to the film. The ending being one… and the protracted cellar stuff for a second.
To be honest, I think the ending really really let the film down.

That where the good guy wins and the bad boys are defeated (but not completely annihilated so the option for a sequel remains) etc ... Yep always a let down.
