So after our dip in the pool (and a lot cooler for it) we’re unpacked, and just about to head out to stock up on essentials, food, water and the like, when we find the car won’t start. Abi’s parents have kindly left a car in the garage, but the battery is very dead. We drop the charger on it, but after 3 hours it’s still not even close to starting. So after a few phone calls by Abi rescue is on the way in the form of a mechanic with a new battery. 5minutes later and the car’s running, and we head off to the supermarket.

So after not doing a lot other than swimming and sunbathing all afternoon the sun is setting and we head off into Petra for a pizza for me and Salad for Abi.
