It’s another scorcher of a day, so rather than anything strenuous for me, I spend another day in the shade, relaxing reading a book.
After the sun has set, and the temperatures dropped we head off for some eat by the coast, swordfish for me. On the way back we stop off and get some night pictures of Molyvos castle, and of the whole town.
As we’re heading off to bed though we find a scorpion’s found it’s way into our bedroom. Last year we had a similar problem, but this time, with the scorpion on the floor and us up and awake, it’s on our terms. We’ve learned from last year so the floor is clear, so nowhere for it to hide. While Abi’s off getting a broom, I bat it out into the hallway with a flip flop (and boy does it slide well on these floors!). Then after unlocking the front door, another bat outside, where Abi finishes it off with the end of the broom. Some-thing’s breakfast tomorrow no doubt.
