I’ve decided today that somehow, one way or another, I’m going to trim back the two conifers in the front garden. They’ve not been touched since I moved in and have grown up and out quite dramatically. My first plan was to just cut out individual branches, but before I’ve even made the first cut it’s obvious that it’s not going to look good if I do.

So we head off to the DIY place and buy their cheapest (well, it’s not like I’m going to use it much) hedge trimmer. Once we’re home we get going and it’s not long before there’s shredded tree everywhere. I don’t overdo it too much, but certianly give it all a good trimming.

Clock change in the morning, which means checking the clocks of the computers at work.
