With Abi off for a few weeks tomorrow, we’ve both got plenty of things keeping us busy today. First things first Abi’s now repaired car gets returned, just as we’re up. Things look good on that front, though Abi wants me to drop it back to them next weekend to see if they can adjust one of the lights which is a few mm out.
Then the Satellite chap turns up to install a Sky+ box. A PVR for those outside the UK. The fitting goes fine, but I have to wait “upto” 4 hours for the PVR stuff to be activated.
While we’re waiting we head out to the fish place to replace the puffer from last week. We come back with two spotted and one red-eye.
So, after 4 hours waiting and nothing, I call Sky back up and talk to a helpful chap called Scott, who manages to instantly activate the PVR stuff. That’s a bit better. And having lived in the non-PVR world until now, got to say the new stuff is very cool, helps having dual satellite feed mind.
One of Abi’s new spotted puffers has only been in the tank for a few hours, but is already looking like it’s dead or will be any minute. Shame. We’re both hoping the other two new ones will make it through the night.
And with Abi finally packed we head off to bed.
