So up early this morning to get Abi into London and to the airport. All goes well and Abi’s checked in quickly, but then there’s a hell of a queue to get into the departures lounge. I stick with Abi for as long as I can, but eventually head off home. It’s a bit lonely and quiet back at home, but as Abi’s away for at least 3 weeks, I’d better get used to it.

I spend the day doing various bits, including the shopping, starting to assemble my new railway layout (I’m two bits of rail down, because the shop forgot to send them in the last order), and watching a movie (already seen it before, but it was quite good).

Back to work tomorrow, after an all-to-short weekend.
