As Abi already mentioned, off Rally Driving today. Got to say that fun as it was (and very much so), it’s damn hard. And I don’t really mean in the physically demanding sense, but more in the consistency sense. I mean I can quite happily pootle round the track. And even go round at a for old rate, but with so many variables it’s quite tricky to go round the corner the right way once let alone repeatedly.
Still it was great fun, had the car sideways all over the place, and the instructor reaching for the handbrake on a few occasions too (and hence described as “scary”, and “even more scary”).

My wife's uncle (and his daughter's) are in to rally driving in a big way - they always have lots of tales and photos to show us when we visit.
