Abi’s up mega-early this morning, while I sleep for a bit longer. While Abi’s off at the gym I start clearing some space in the shed for my car roof (the hardtop), and then set about washing the car. For some daft reasons they’re issuing a hosepipe ban at the end of this month, and as that’ll make washing my car a lot more work, I’ll get it done now.
When Abi gets back from the gym we head off to the local skips to get rid of some boxes that were in the shed, and then we detach and pack away my car roof.
And then it starts raining.
Abi’s off to her parents for the weekend (it is mother’s day after all), and a few minutes after she sets off, I head off to see my parents too. And it’s still raining.
