My first day off work since the start of the year (excluding some weekends). I’ve got a few bits that I want to do today, including putting some wood stain on the garden table as it’s fading quite badly. I also watch a couple of DVDs, nothing amazing and finish one of the card models I started the other day but didn’t finish due to lack of glue.
The weather’s a bit changeable going from bright sunny sunshine this morning to rain this afternoon with spells of both randomly throughout.
While I was in town this afternoon I also couldn’t resist the temptation to pick up a new lens for our camera. I’ve actually ordered this one before from 7dayshop, but just after they stopped stocking canon lenses, and cancelled my order. Anyway we can now add a telephoto zoom lens to our collection, this ones 75-300mm, so adds some reasonable zoomage to our existing 18-55mm. I think we’d both like a couple more lenses, a wideangle and a macro, but both are a little more expensive than this simple lens.
I do some Tuna Mayo pitta’s and chips for tea (nothing mega, but then I can’t cook like Abi).
And only two phone-calls from work today, was nice to have a day off.
