Stuffed Laptops
Another scorchy day. Lucky me also has a day off work (mainly in anticipation of having to work the whole of next weekend). However I seem to spend most of it trying to sort out a laptop. Out normal one died last night… refuses to boot, just power up for 2 seconds, and then back down, then up, then down.…. ad infinitum (well nearly, I got bored counting).
So I spend most of today trying to set up an older toshiba laptop, finding drivers, that sort of thing. Finally get almost there and find windows updates ain’t quite working. Not something I’d want to leave unsorted (unless I’d installed linux on there). The solution will have to wait though.
