Trains

Rather than sitting round with nothing to do all day, I make an executive decision, that sees us off to the nearby railway centre for a few hours. It’s not a national one like the one up at York, but they have a few trains, and one running. So we have a look around, have a snack for lunch, take a brief ride on one of the trains (nearly as jerky pulling away as me with my little steam train), and then head home. The weather has been lovely and hot and sunny which was a bit of a surprise.

I’ve got the next couple of days off work, so I think we might head out again on Tuesday if there’s nothing else to occupy us.
