No Shopping

Sorry for the delays with updates here, as I mentioned, without my PC, and sharing my parents it’s hard to find a private moment to do this sort of thing. This (Saturday 30th) is the first chance I’ve had. Things will get back to normal at the beginning of the new year as I’ll be back in Oxford.
I’m getting into the swing of these late starts now, and not working too, it’s great. I’ve also been putting off buying any Christmas presents, and manage yet another day without. Instead I spend my time doing all those other things, like playing through Dungeon Keeper 2, watching odds and ends on TV and the like. I really enjoy this.
Bob Thompson’s written about CPRM copy protection. You can read his comments here. I too think it’s a bonkers idea, that could just about kill off the way people use PCs today. With this, Microsoft’s .NET in the wing’s and the UKs RIP bill in the offing next year the whole idea of using a PC is looking less and less attractive all the time.
