Overtime

Later this evening it all reappears as it should. Only two days of awayness. Once again, sorry.
Work starts with a mammoth 2 and half hour meeting discussing the start of next year, work loads, priorities and various other overriding IT issues.
The afternoon follows with me starting to train Harry how to do the forms that I’ve been spending so long on. If nothing else, if means there will be two of use that can do the job. The problem is that the process is a little involved, and there are plenty of "gotcha’s" to watch out for.
I managed to forget to kick off one of the processes at work before I left today. The process itself wasn’t critical, but because of some of the timing routines used when scheduling, it would have kicked off first thing tomorrow morning, putting extra load on the system, just when the early morning rush started.
So rather than leave it, I went back to work, for about 2 minutes. Both my boss and the MD were there, I think I surprised at least one of them, turning up at 7:30pm.
Anyway back home to meet Mark, and go get some food, before we chat a bit, and then I get some sleep.
